Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Great singer/songwriters like Jesse Winchester, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Willie Nelson, B. B. King, Johnny Cash, Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, Cream, Beatles, . Motown legends, and the Stax recording artists, the way they all could 'put over' a song. I love Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Otis Redding, The Four Tops, The Temptations. I love the folk singers, Donovan, Peter Paul and Mary, Gordon Lightfoot, Paul Simon. Delta Blues, Mississippi John Hurt, Howlin' Wolf. Any kind of Soul.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would sell my cd, and other songs I'm ready to record. It would give me exposure to large crowds, that feeling of really moving them.
What would you do with $50,000?
Give it to my wife; she's good with money. I'd probably record another couple of cd's. Then I'd give the rest to my wife.
