Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My background coming from a small city right outside of New York called Mount Vernon geared me for my passion. I understand what it’s like to be the underdog. I’ve lost people in my life along the way and I have people here with me that believe in me and are counting on me.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This would be a massive opportunity for me. I’ve been pushing myself to get better at my craft for years and this would be one of a few signs that my work is paying off, whether I win or not. I believe that every opportunity is a doorway to another opportunity and I’m grateful to have this one.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d get myself an apartment in the tristate area and invest some money in my retirement and other avenues of passive income before budgeting funds to invest directly back into my career. This $50,000 would open me up to be able to conquer my midterm/slightly longer goals that I’d normally have to work years toward. (Going back to school, buying a home, starting a legacy, etc.)
