Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration is music itself and everything that comes with it. The emotion in writing, the beauty in hearing and creating music, the art of creating visuals, and the community and appreciation from sharing it with the world! I’ve always had the superstar within me and loved to sing and perform other artists songs for fun (it is currently 11:11 as i write this). How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a dream come true! I’m from Harlem, Manhattan NYC and one of my favorite memories is seeing rihanna rehearse in central park great lawn on my birthday! Afterschool i’d always write music on the great lawn and spend time with all my friend from high school. To be able to have that platform to showcase my talent is something I pray for as an independent artist.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would be so grateful to be able to buy studio equipment to record myself at home! I'd also invest in promo and music videos, pay off the rest of my rent for the year and use my income to travel and experience more of life. I’ve been on my own since 18, having to spend all my money on bills and all i want to do is make art and travel without having to worry about saving for next months rent. It would be the life changing blessing i’ve prayed for!
