Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspirations began at a young age. Watching my parents perform from the dressing room when I was just six years old, leaving a lasting impression and where the spark truly began. As I grew older, I was influenced by powerhouse vocalists like Celine Dion and Chaka Khan, as well as legendary Latin artists such as Marc Anthony and La Lupe. I also drew inspiration from iconic composers like Diane Warren and David Foster, whose countless hits have touched hearts and stood the test of time.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a powerful milestone in my career and a meaningful opportunity to impact the world. I believe the messages in my songs have the power to inspire, heal, and unite. Music is a universal language, and through it, I aim to remind people that we all experience the same pain, cry the same tears, and celebrate the same joys. In a time when connection and empathy are so needed, I want my voice to be part of that global heartbeat.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I would invest in my music companies that are built on giving back. One of my companies offers internship programs for music students, providing mentorship and college credit to help them graduate and succeed in the industry. The other brings live music to senior citizen homes, offering joy, connection, and healing through performance. And personally, I would fulfill a lifelong dream by taking my 88-year-old mother to Paris—something she truly deserves.
