Who or what is your musical inspiration?
People. ..my friends and their lives, problems, struggles, joys, hopes...my community and what we make of it....taking care of the elderly, the poor, the veterans (which I am one)....AND my family and the situations that bring us joy, frustration, hardship, desire and love.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would show the world that neither poverty or the music industry doesn't discriminate against age. The age of the musician doesn't matter. Music Matters! It is about the great music and lyrics that inspire, motivate, and elevate. Music (like love) can cross age groups, cultures, countries, and boarder lines. Music moves people on a emotional, physical and spiritual plain. Performing at the Global Citizens Festival will show the world all these things and that's what my music is about.
What would you do with $50,000?
Pay my family's medical bills. Get health insurance for my underpaid adult children. My youngest son is on the spectrum. I would help him with independent living as well. I am a veteran and I would donate some of the money to help the homeless veterans in the U.S. Poverty sucks!
