Who or what is your musical inspiration?
To me inspiration comes more from experiences in life than from an outside source. Don't get me wrong, I am moved by many artists. But things that I've gone through in my life as well as experiences that others, close to me, have gone through too. All of these things play a part in an artist's mental acuity. They find a way to surface during creative moments with a guitar or even at other unexpected times, such as the middle of the night. Over the years, too many inspirations to list.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I hope it would at least give me a big push in the right direction. I'm trying to be realistic and not ask for, nor expect too much.
What would you do with $50,000?
pay off my current recording expenses and record another EP or album.
