Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I literally let the track/music inspire me. As an older artist I’ve learned to listen and appreciate most musical genres. Songwriters like Jerry Cantrell, Eddie Vedder, Tupac, Natalie Merchant & Sarah Maclaughlin, have all inspired me, but not like the music itself. When I listen to tracks I hear my inner monologue, it tells me what pitch to use, and I just start singing. I write what I sing, and then add to the chorus. How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Not sure how it would impact my career but I would love to be on that stage. I haven’t performed in years. Even if this was the only time I performed it would be a monumental time for everyone watching and having fun. I would have fun, meet new people, and spread my message of unity and fixing self first.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would pay my taxes to the IRS. $50K would turn into about $37,500. I would pay off my unsecured debt. And I would take my family to Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
