Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My dad who was killed on the job when I was 6 years old. He was just about to record his first album and I would love to achieve the dreams we shared of music. The dreams we shared of playing for as many people as we possibly could, getting the chance to take them away from their everyday struggle. With music we can heal and move people in ways nothing else can.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This would be the biggest stage we have played on, giving us a chance to showcase our music to a worldwide audience. Playing at this festival would always give us a chance to showcase our music even with a severe disability you can overcome and do anything.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would definitely record more music, keep helping our lead singer Johnny with his house accommodations to make his life more accessible and we would Donate to our local PDX blues foundation to keep the music alive for younger generations.
