Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I have many...newer artists like Bruno Mars, Hozier, Teddy Swims, as well as veteran artists like Graham Parker, Bowie, Peter Gabriel, U2, Jeff Buckley. It's the song that makes me tick ...getting the written part as perfect as possible before it even goes near the studio recording aspect...but I do also hear the production as I'm writing a song.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Hopefully quite favorably! As a composer, recording artist, and vocalist of music for TV, most of what I do is very behind the scenes, so some credible exposure that could possibly get more of my songs placed would be quite welcomed.
What would you do with $50,000?
Help pay my kids college tuition. I have 20 year old twins, girl and boy, who are just completing their sophomore year. And perhaps save some of the winnings too.
