Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is from real life—my environment, my experiences, and the grind I’ve lived through growing up in the suburbs of Chicago. I was surrounded by different sounds and cultures, and that shaped my ear early on. I also found inspiration in soul, jazz, and even rock. I write, produce, and engineer my own music. Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a major milestone in my career. It’s more than just a performance—it’s a platform that reaches a global audience and stands for something bigger than music. Being part of that kind of movement would amplify my voice not just as an artist, but as someone with a message. It would open doors to new fans, new collaborations, and greater visibility, while also aligning me with a mission of change, impact, and unity.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I had $50,000, I’d be smart and invest, so that money could grow and continue working for me. With the returns, I’d pour back into my career: upgrading my studio equipment, funding visuals, marketing, and building out a stronger independent platform to reach more people. I’d also use it to take some of the weight off my parents, help pay their bills and give back for everything they’ve done for me. The money wouldn’t just change my situation, it would help me gro
