Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our inspirations vary from 80's metal to 70's classic rock to modern bands like Linkin park. Lyrically I really like Alterbridge because they write about positive and meaningful subjects.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This would be a big step for us. it would be the biggest stage we ever performed on. We would be so happy to be sharing our message with more people. We want our music to reach as many people who need to hear it as possible. One of my favorite songs that we've written says it best. "I dont write songs to bring me wealth or fame. I just write what I am thinking day to day. I write about the things i feel and things I see. And if I helped you then thats all the fame I need.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would definitely invest some of it in ourselves. one of our goals is to finally be able to record in a studio with a pro who can really get the best sound out of us. After that we would help the schools we work at replenish musical equipment. we both work with special needs kids and music and art makes such a difference.
