Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Music has always been my first love—a way to feel, connect, and express. I gave it up to serve as an RCMP officer and support my family. Years later, after being diagnosed with PTSD and going through a divorce, I was left with only my faith and a guitar. In that season of loss, music came back—not as a hobby, but as a lifeline. Now I write from a place of truth and healing, for those who’ve been broken and still believe in the power of redemption.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Playing the Global Citizen Festival would be a game-changer. It’d help me share my music and my story with a worldwide audience that cares about making a difference. I write songs about real life, healing, and starting over, and this stage would let me connect those messages to something bigger. It’s a chance to grow, reach new fans, and be part of something that truly matters.
What would you do with $50,000?
As an independent artist living on early medical retirement from the RCMP, funding music is a real challenge. The $50,000 would allow me to professionally record and release a full-length album, hire a publicist and radio tracker, and invest in quality videos, promotion, and touring. It would help me build real momentum, share my story with a wider audience, and keep making music that brings hope and healing to others going through hard times.
