It’s in my blood
Thank you for generously supporting Jordan McBride in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to empower Global Citizen in their mission to eradicate extreme poverty and create a world where everyone has an equal chance to thrive.
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My dad was a west coast rapper back in the 80’, 90’s era so that definitely had a huge impact on how I approached music from a young age. Now I’m more influenced by artists like Post Malone, Travis Scott, and Playboi Carti.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I think it would be a good opportunity and challenge for myself to see how well I can do in front of a large crowd of people.
What would you do with $50,000?
Start my own record label to help the other people in my city get some recognition. I’d also put a bit into a debut album so I can shop around the labels, build some leverage and what not. Imagine I ink a crazy deal off of performing at an event like this that would be wild.
