Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is so varied. From Miles Davis to Stevie Ray Vaughan. Story tellers like Blaze Foley to Townes Van Zandt. The king of classic country Mr. Hank Williams to my favorite outlaws Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson. I also love artists like yellawolf who jump genres. An artist should never be restrained by labels but pursue the music he hears and feels in his soul.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I believe my career would explode and skyrocket. What a prestigious honor and to play and sing for such a wide audience would be a pinnacle moment for me and my career. Just to be considered is a win in my book. I believe being center stage and also having followers is something not to be tsken lightly. It is an opportunity to affect change in the world. Grassroots change that starts with one individual at a time. Being honest and straightforward, I can speak to their hearts
What would you do with $50,000?
I would immediately reserve studio time and record my songs the way I hear them in my head. The way they are supposed to be heard by the world. I believe it would be the perfect opportunity to start a charity for street people. My personal mission
