Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration comes from surviving genocide and war in Bukavu, Goma DRC. I lost almost everything, but not my voice. Music became my healing, my strength. I’m driven by the resilience of my people and inspired by artists like Burna Boy and Bob Marley who use music to uplift and speak truth, love, hope and togetherness.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a life-changing moment. It would allow me to share a message of motivation, love, and resilience with the world. Coming from war-torn Bukavu and Goma, I’ve learned to never give up and I want my journey to inspire others who are going through difficult times. This platform would help me spread hope and show that even from pain, greatness can rise.
What would you do with $50,000?
I know what it’s like to be an orphan and lose everything to war. With $50,000, I’d invest in my music to reach a global audience, sharing hope, love, and motivation. I’d also donate part to support children affected by war and abused women. My goal is to heal through music and inspire others to never give up, take action, and help those facing dark times just like I once did. Believe.
