Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I grew up in Jamaica, so my earliest inspiration were Beenie Man, bounty killer and of course Bob Marley. But when I started transitioning into hip hop, it was a variety of artists coolie O, biggie, busta, Nas, Jay-z, ice cube. Etc. hip hop felt so personal and filled with emotions that from day one I couldn’t turn it off. I know /knew I was destined to be apart of it in someway.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would give me a newly found sense of yes … it was meant to be. All your hard work has been validated, now i could take it to the next level. We all just need one chance and if i was to every get the chance to perform that would be life changing
What would you do with $50,000?
For one I would be able to promote, market and push my music the way I’ve always wanted without worrying about regular life coming in the way. I do believe I have great music, but not the best promotion so once that obstacle is handled which this money would help with. Everything else will fall into place.
