Who or what is your musical inspiration?
There are too many to list here but God, my family, and the struggles we've been throigh with 6 kids, two of which are disabled. We were homeless last year about this time and didn't know what we were going to do but we have been blessed. This is the inspiration for all I write.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Visibility. If I can get in front of that crowd I can connect with them. All I need is a stage. It would give me the visibility I need to achieve escape velocity.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would put it toward getting my youngest son, Finn to Johns Hopkins medical where he could get the specialized care he desperately needs. He has a super rare genetic condition that is so rare it doesn't officially have a name yet. The doctors in Georgia have exhausted all they know and really want him to be seen by Hopkins.
