Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My music taste is expansive. I’m often inspired by women vocalists with unique voices. Astrud Gilberto, blossom dearie, however I also incorporate spiritual imagery and find inspiration in hip hop artists like Smino.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be a major catalyst to bring light to expansive soulful music with a new edge! A far stretch from my bedroom pop days.
