Who or what is your musical inspiration?
1st and foremost Our family is our (Jwalku’s) biggest inspiration. John’s Aunt and Uncle: Dottie & her 1st husband Bill West are two examples of the musical talent that has been in our families jeans for generations and generations to come. And Heather’s Mother was A singer and six instrument self taught musician who was performing even while she was pregnant with Heather. As well as her many family members involved in bluegrass folk and country western music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would give us the opportunity to be heard by a much larger audience all at once as well as give us the chance to perform at this festival for the first time. We love the energy concert goers give & can’t wait to perform our music and feel the energy & this festival’s atmosphere while performing. We, Jwalku, are also looking forward to Networking with & performing alongside other well respected artists/musicians & meeting the
What would you do with $50,000?
We would invest this money into Jwalku’s future projects such as: Recording with the newest and most advanced music technologies (software and hardware) & so much more. We would like to be able to take time to go to a secluded beautiful space to record our next album without any distractions and we will use this money to do so.
