Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration stems from a long list of incredible artists such as Bob Marley, Led Zeplin, Notorious B.I.G, Beatles, Jewel, Bill Withers, Al Green, Michael Jackson and many more. Music gives me a vibrant and fulfilling fuel for life, everything I do from workout to work is generated from that fuel. How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing here at the Global Citizen Festival would impact my career tremendously, by allowing me to showcase my skills and talent to the whole world. Just being there to perform is a dream come true and already makes me feel like I won big in life. I’ve been performing songs since I was 10 years old, doing local school talent shows. Performing is what I love most as an artist, it allows me to express myself and relate to the crowd as we all vibe. I just want the world to know me.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I win, I would utilize this $50,000 to elevate my career. I would purchase more studio time, pay for a feature with a great producer or another singer/songwriter to work with on a project. I would shoot a really great video (which I also direct and edit) and market it successfully across global platforms like Instagram and YouTube. I would also use the money to book a venue in my hometown NYC and have friends family and fans to join me and create more merchandise for my website and shows.
