Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m constantly inspired by artists I listen to regularly, like Freddie Gibbs, Westside Gunn, Boldy James and The Alchemist. To me, these artists embody what hip hop is at its core.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival and opening for the headliners would introduce my discography to a whole new audience and my performance would be an investment in their experience to return as listeners and regular consumers of my art.
What would you do with $50,000?
While it’d be fun to spend $50,000 on things to show off, I’d utilize that money beneficially. Being a self supporting independent artist, all of the budget comes from what’s left outside of my monthly expenses, often times even drawing from my savings if needed. With $50,000, I could invest an appropriate amount back into the art, supplying the demand of my fanbase for multiple sizes for merchandise, different articles of merch and I’d like to get my mother a car.
