Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m a black man inspired by Taylor Swift. There I said it. Her ability to own a catchy tune and generate billions of dollars of the course of her 20 year career is nothing short of phenomenal. She successfully hopped from genre to genre never alienating her core fan base who loved her in country.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Tremendously. I’m confident I’ll gain a following by just getting my stuff out there live. They will finally see a sexy black man bringing back guitar and that rock sad boy vibe. Ladies will eat it up and the men will feel seen.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would fund my own our national tour.
