Who or what is your musical inspiration?
When we are writing, we each draw our inspiration from very different places. Rhett loves EDM and the energy of electronic music, on the production side of things. Kristy uses songwriting almost as her therapy, often drawing her lyrics straight out her heart and personal life. It ends up being a uniquely complementary combination.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be a life-changing opportunity to say the least—not just for our careers, but for our purpose as artists. It would allow us to share our music on a global stage, stand for something bigger than ourselves while doing what we love. It would be both an honor and a huge step forward for us as artists.
What would you do with $50,000?
Invest it wisely in our music. There are SO many things we could do with $50k -like music videos and marketing etc. We’re both careful decision makers (both virgos) so I’m sure we would definitely make the most out of it one way or another..It would be a huge boost for our music that’s for sure!
