Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m inspired by different artists every day. When it comes to my top three musical inspirations, I would have to say Aretha Franklin, Florence Welch, and Lady Gaga. When Lady Gaga writes a song, she morphs different genres into her own vibrant style. This is exactly how I go about writing my music. I never want to mold myself to one genre when I can create my own. I love surprising people with my music, never letting them put me into a category.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival, with a crowd of 60,000, would change my life. This opportunity would launch my solo career, gaining access to a new fan base. My drive, passion, talent, and performance skills will be on full blast, exactly what the world needs to see!
What would you do with $50,000?
Winning $50,000 would be the greatest investment in my career. I could record numerous singles and even a full album! This money would also help me pay for my wonderful band, studio time, and rehearsal space. I could even tour! The possibilities are endless.
