Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is my life. everything I’ve survived and everything I’m still learning to heal from. I’ve been homeless, abused, abandoned, and still I kept creating. I’m inspired by the shadow side of love, by grief, by struggle. Artists like Summer Walker, SZA, and Jhené Aiko move me, but I also sing for the women who never got the chance to tell their stories. My music is for the ones who feel invisible. I see them, because I am them.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would give me the chance to share my voice with people who need to hear it… people who feel like no one understands what they’ve been through. I’ve always felt like an outsider, and music is the only place I’ve ever felt seen. This stage would be more than a performance, it’d be a breakthrough. I’d use the moment to amplify stories that don’t get told and connect through energy, truth, and soul.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d finally have the resources to create without limits. I’d build a safe space to record, produce, and share my story with the world. I’d invest in visuals, therapy, and sound to elevate my art and heal my spirit. I’ve spent my life giving everything to others. This money would help me pour into myself and bring something powerful back to my people, something real, raw, and revolutionary.
