Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is to get people excited through melody, and touch their hearts through lyrics. I perform with the hope to reach people through my sound, and provoke positive change and healing. Musical heroes are Shania Twain, Paul McCartney, Gordon Lightfoot, Carole King, Patsy Cline, and Bobby McFerrin.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would provide the opportunity for me to connect with people that care about the state of our world and its future. It would allow for me to connect with an audience I otherwise would never get the chance to perform in front of. It would amplify my career in the most wonderful way, and I would be so incredibly grateful.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would definitely put that money towards career development, as well as investing in a place I can permanently call home. I would also use it to help get me a set of wheels for touring which I don’t have right now. I would do what I can with that and it would absolutely change my life.
