Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Music itself is my inspiration. Ever since I was young, the only consistency in my life has been music and being able to create something that can change even how just one person feels has proven to inspire me in all aspects of my life. Music itself inspires me to keep going, not just for myself, but also to show others that they are not alone and that what I create can be the stability and consistency in their lives. After taking this artist thing seriously, I have found myself more diligent!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would help me reach a wider audience than any of the gigs I could book & being able to do so is an opportunity I wouldn't take for granted. Reaching so many people and performing for IMPORTANT causes, esp. in today's world, feels like I'd be in the right place and the right time because music to me has much meaning & issues like climate change & poverty alleviation as someone who has struggled with it.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I would first do my best to repay all of those who have supported me when I was a "nobody." Then, I would use the money to produce an album as that is something I've been struggling to fund for. I know I'm destined to spend the rest of my life making music, so I would invest the money into promotional activities and video shoots so that ultimately, I can show fans all the love and support is worth it. And of course, I would repay my parents for their sacrifice.
