Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m inspired by both the pain and the love I have the privilege to feel—by my journey and those around me. I’m moved by the synchronicities in life & the parallels in our narratives; they bring us closer together in powerful ways. I’m inspired by my parents’ love for music; they taught me about Motown & Broadway; my older brother taught me about Talking Heads, Phish and house music. Artists who inspire me most are Jungle, LP Giobbi & Drama.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
My goal in my music career has always been to spread happiness through my music. I believe the best way to do this is to play at music festivals, when i believe people are most open to receiving new perspectives, and new music. Performing at this festival would help me to fulfill this dream to spread happiness in such an open hearted and open minded place.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would take 40,000 and invest it wisely. I would then take the 10k and invest it directly into my music career: music production equipment, professional live streams/equipment, video content from my shows, social media content and merch to sell at my shows and on my website.
