Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My personal experiences are a huge inspiration for my music, using music as a form of therapy to vent about my life & finding other people that relate to the message I’m conveying. Also the lack of representation of the DMV in the music scene really fuels & inspired me to put out more music. Representing the fashion culture of my city.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be not only 1 of my greatest accomplishments so far as an artist, but an honor to represent my city & display my talents to a larger audience. It would definitely boost my career while also giving me some validity & credibility as an independent artist. Everything you see creativity as came from me & me only, this opportunity would open other doors for possible management & record deal opportunities to really breakthrough into the music industry.
What would you do with $50,000?
Buy my own studio set up to be able to record more frequently, use some of the money to help promote/market my music to a broader audience, & help my mother & 6 siblings pay some bills! I’m the youngest of 7 my family is huge! lol
