Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Patra, Lady Saw, Sean Paul has always been an inspiration of mine for bold, sensual Caribbean storytelling. My culture being born and raised in the The Bahamas, and celebrating Carnival, throughout the Caribbean countries.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a major game-changer for my career and here’s why. I feel that it would have a great cultural impact being where I’m from and making my country proud. It will provide global visibility and provide networking power with a lot of amazing people.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I won $50,000, I would invest it directly into my music career to reach new audiences. But more than that, I want to create a platform that amplifies young Caribbean voices from the Bahamas like me—people who rarely see themselves represented in this industry. That money wouldn’t just fuel my dreams, it would open doors for a whole community.
