Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our influences come from every direction, and we believe that’s why our music resonates with such a wide range of music lovers. While heavily influenced by indie rock, punk, and post-punk artists like The Strokes, The Hives Dinosaur Jr, Bad Religion, and the Ramones, you’ll also hear hints of The Stones, Bowie, The Cure, AC/DC, Rush, and even Mastodon to name a few. No genre of music is off-limits with us, and it clearly comes through when we write.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Playing the Global Citizens Festival would be an amazing opportunity for us, and mean the world. It would allow us to showcase our music to a much broader audience, and give us an opportunity to grow as artists and open doors for us that we may not have had the opportunity to access before. We also fully support the festival's mission and would be proud to be a part of the event.
What would you do with $50,000?
We’d reinvest the $50,000 in the band. We are very DIY, even down to the recording and art work that goes along with it. Winning would allow us to upgrade performance and recording equipment, enhance our stage shows, and give us a little more freedom to create and grow as artists in general.
