Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration comes from my upbringing , my environment and my surroundings . Ever since I was a young kid growing up in the ghetto I always wrote about things I’ve seen done and witnessed , things that aren’t normal to most and situations I wanted to overcome and this is where my inspiration to write comes from . True stories about the hood . I’m inspired by the late Tupac Shakur his story telling is beautiful and I’ve witnessed similar things if not the exact same thin
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would help my career so much , it would help get my message out to the world my story is real, it would help my visibility as well . I feel I am one of the best writers of our time and I’m so musically inclined, I have an ear for hit records I’ve made hit records it’s just no one has heard them . It would help me build a solid fan base as well .
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest more into my music , I would help my family , it would give me financial independence to do bigger projects bigger records meaning I could pay for features I could improve my look , I could hire better videographers, I could afford more studio time , I could get better graphic designers . Overall I could improve my image and production 100% ! I’m ready choose me “King Jae”
