Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We're inspired by artists like The Beatles, ABBA, Billie Eilish, Prince, and AR Rahman—visionaries who proved music breaks barriers. We grew up singing Indian classical and dreamt of blending it with pop to create something personal and universal. We want to unite people across cultures with music that reflects who we are and invites the world to feel something new.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It’s a rare stage where one moment can change everything. So many diverse audiences attend; it’s a wonderful moment to bring people together as one. It would be an amazing opportunity to represent our South Asian community as not many of us perform in stages like these! We have lived around the world, being born in the NED, spending lots of time in Chennai, but having spent most of our life and upbringing in the US. What would you do with $50,000?
We’d use this to reach a wider audience through our music, perform more live shows that create unique experiences that share our story as Indian-American pop artists. We’d also donate to charities supporting causes close to us—mental health, girls’ education, gender equality, clean environments, and helping people without basic needs like water, food, and shelter.
