Who or what is your musical inspiration?
my musical inspiration comes from listening to the music i would hear growing up. A lot of the representation I saw in music never felt like it directly reflected how i saw myself. I am constantly inspired by pop music as well as folk and rnb. i love mixing those genres and playing with the idea of storytelling and visualization through my lyrics! showing how we as people often experience a lot of the same heartbreaks. but how they affect us differently based off our intersectionality's.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would impact my career GREATLY. I write music every single day, i taught myself guitar by ear over the last 2 years. being given a platform to show my music and my artistic vision is all i ever ask. I have the drive, the determination, and the willingness to always learn and top myself. I just need the exposure <3
What would you do with $50,000?
With 50,000 i would pay off my student debt and hopefully be able to help my parents pay off the rest of their mortgage on our house. they took out of their own retirement funds just to joy only send me to school for what i love, but to help me chase my dreams. i am always going to try and repay them in anyway I can!
