Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m deeply inspired by city life, human nature, and psychology. I grew up in the church and was raised by my grandparents so I have an old school approach and my sounds feels like listening to the secrets of a confessional. My musical inspirations are primarily Damon Albarn, Lana Del Rey, and SZA. I’d also say to System Of A Down, The Offspring, and many others.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would forever change my life and give me the tools I need to continue working on what I love most. I am not just passionate about music, I was born to share it with the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
Finish making and producing a full studio album as a soloist and go on tour. I could use the money to launch my musicianship to a new level and promote myself and others. I’d like to use the proceeds for my music to help make the world a better place.
