Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Lyrically? Artists like Melanie Martinez, aldn, kylanonline, Odetari, etc.. Sonically, however? I don’t think there’s a sound out there like mine. I am obsessed with genre-merging! It makes my soul happy.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would give me the opportunity to grow my fanbase, and tell my story. It is my goal as an artist to help people heal through art, and to be able to share my art with a crowd like that would mean the world to me, and I am positive it would touch some hearts!
What would you do with $50,000?
A cash prize like that would be able to kickstart my vision for the music video storyboard I have for every song on my album, and give me the opportunity to buy a tour van for the second leg of the tour I am actively going on this week! It would also allow for more studio time, it would allow me to get my car fixed. Overall, I would use the money to kick off my career even more than I already have!
