Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My longtime mentor Vince Metz who taught me everything I know. He is no longer with us, and his passing inspired me to give the last parts of myself to music. I’ve never felt more creative, and grateful for his teachings than I do right now writing the best I ever have.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would bring my music to a larger audience, who would appreciate its serious undertones about living freely, completely, and rebelliously to chase what’s most important to you. Most importantly it would bring me closer to doing music full time.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would make a record at the peak of what’s possible in the birthplace of America - the starting point of the American Revolution in Boston MA. I would hire actors to bring my songs to life, hire mixing engineers, a producer, and make the BEST record I possibly can. I would use the money to show people with my music to “Live free or die”, and use all the remaining money to get it promoted, featured, and pitched to industry professionals to expand my brand and reach.
