Who or what is your musical inspiration?
There’s many artists I could name that helped shape the artist I am today, but honestly without my faith, I wouldn’t be here. From the beginning to now its always been important to me that whenever someone listens to my music, they leave feeling uplifted, encouraged, and felt. The goal for me isn’t just to connect through music, but to introduce them to The One who changed my life forever.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I’ve thankfully had to the opportunity to open up for a Grammy Nominated Reggae group in my hometown and that was major, however I have yet to receive an opportunity to perform at festival like this, at this magnitude. This would not only be an opportunity to share my story with an audience I maybe wouldn’t be able to reach on my own, but it’d be a massive step in my career that solidifies even more that I was made for this.
What would you do with $50,000?
Truthfully aside from celebrating with family and buying something nice for myself and the team, I would invest the rest of the money back into my career. That would help tremendously by having funds to continue to record at the top studios in the area, ensuring more music. The money would also help us run more marketing campaigns to push and promote our product to more people.
