Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our musical inspiration comes from the pioneers of soul and blues-based rock music, such as the Allman Brothers Band, Joe Cocker, Traffic, Little Feat, and Delaney & Bonnie Bramlett, as well as modern jam-oriented bands like Gov't Mule, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Widespread Panic, Marcus King, and Goose.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be huge for our career! We would be exposed to an audience that we otherwise wouldn't get a chance to perform for and show them the breadth of what our music has to offer and the energy, excitement, and integrity that we bring to the stage. We would also be able to show the range of styles that we build into our sound and we could use audio, video, and photos from that performance to push our social media presence forward and build our fanbase.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would commit the $50,000 to making an album that showcases the depth of our artistry. We have huge ambitions when it comes to crafting songs and bringing them to life in the studio. However, the cost of recording with a high-quality engineer and in a space that meets our needs can be prohibitive. Therefore, this would be the opportunity of a lifetime! We could also use the funding to build our logo, brand, and merch so that we can reach a whole new audience in that way.
