Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Bob Marley is my biggest musical inspiration because he believed in one love . We are one human race and he tried to make music that’s open to all cultures globally . My stage presence and music embodies the same energy and try to inspire people to have pride for their culture through music .
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Locally I’ve been performing on smaller stages in NY and the tristate area for the last 5 years . Performing on Global Citizens stage would have a major impact on my career not only for the publication but also shows my audience I am capable of performing on bigger stages . It would also give me the opportunity to touch a whole new fan base and scale my business .
What would you do with $50,000?
If I had 50,000 I would reinvest into my company Zoe Talk NYC INC. I would increase my artist development events I got called “Shades Of Black “ . I would also invest in more merchandise to promote the company and build some income at the same time . Lastly I would find a non for profit to donate a percentage to for youth development in NYC .
