Who or what is your musical inspiration?
First and foremost, my family inspires me to put my words out there to touch the hearts of others. I have battled PTSD from a cruel person for 15 years now. I have overcome so many doubts, fears, and fought to want to survive. I want to be that voice for others. I want to be the voice for the women who didn't get the chance to share theirs. I want to heal all women and make them love themselves again. I want to let them know that they didn't rise from the ashes... they're the fire.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would impact my career immensely. But that is not what is important to me per se. If I could only have one chance for the words to touch the hearts of those who need to hear them? That is enough for me. Every heart and soul I touch and heal, makes everything I went through worth it. Every second of it... was worth it.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest half of it at least into my music career, and the rest would go to my children 's future. They are 14, 15, and 16 so they are going to need some help with cars for work. I'm going to make them pay for it, but I'll put the down payment of course LOL
