Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My music inspiration comes from many artists, experiences and sounds. My ambient approach to vocal stems from my needs for emotion to be conveyed in a cutting way that consumes the listener. Zamrock or African Psychedelic Rock influences the inflections in my voice while singing. I try to align myself and my voice closely to my ancestry/culture & hold myself to the standards they would.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would impact my career by bringing new ears and minds into my world of creation. It would also forge a new community & approach to the way we make music today. As well as what we let inspire us.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest in creative fulfillment & advance myself further into my purpose. As well as cultivating a team that truly sees my vision as an artist & creative.
