Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We draw inspiration from many directions but for the most part pop-punk, post hardcore and emo. There’s some soul, shoe gaze or easycore from time to time as well. Id say the top bands that have inspired us are Title Fight, Taking Back Sunday, The Story So Far, My Chemical Romance, At the Drive-In, Motion City Soundtrack, Fall Out Boy, Basement, Knuckle Puck, Turnstile, Say Anything, Real Friends, Blink-182, Knocked Loose, Paramore, Refused, Foo Fighters, Trophy Eyes, etc.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be an amazing opportunity to get to share our songs with the world! Seeing the crowd get into and moving to our material is probably the most insanely cathartic experience anyone could ever imagine. Connecting with an audience, other artists and buisiness insiders that share the excitement and vision for our careers would be a huge step in the right direction for us.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would probably put most, if not all of it back into the band fund. Using it to up the production quality of our next record, print more merch, film and edit better videos, etc. But mostly I feel like it will help free us up to just generally be more creative and inspired to keep writing songs that can hopefully help people.
