Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I get musical inspiration from the artists I grew up with. People like Beyoncé & Destiny’s Child, D’Angelo, André 3000, A Tribe Called Quest. I also gather influences from the artists of today like Lucky Daye, Victoria Monét, and Destin Conrad.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen Festival would amplify my mission as a Black queer artist to center truth, joy, and liberation through music. My work bears witness to personal and collective transformation, and this stage would extend that vision to a global audience. It’s not just about exposure; it’s about affirming that authenticity, vulnerability, and radical love belong in the heart of culture.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d use $50,000 to produce and launch my debut album with a full rollout—funding studio time, video content, and a targeted digital campaign across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. I’d hire Black queer creatives, secure playlist placements, and develop a live show to tour key cities like NYC, ATL, and LA. My goal: 1M streams, 5K engaged fans, and a sustainable foundation to grow my artistry and uplift my community.
