Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My greatest musical inspiration comes from my parents. My dad was a gifted guitar player whose passion for music filled our home and shaped my earliest memories. Even though he passed away from cancer, his spirit lives on in every chord I play. My mom is a singer-songwriter and a cancer survivor — a woman whose strength, resilience, and creative soul have shown me what it means to turn life’s hardships into song. How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a transformative milestone in my musical journey. It would not only give me the opportunity to share my voice on a global stage, but also align my art with a movement rooted in justice, equality, and collective action. As an artist who writes from lived experience—healing, survival, and hope—this platform would amplify my message to audiences who value both purpose and passion. What would you do with $50,000?
If I were given $50,000, I would invest it in two of the most important parts of my life: my family and my music. I would use part of it to create stability and support for my children—whether that means securing safe housing, educational resources, or simply ensuring their needs are met with love and consistency. The rest would go toward advancing my music career: recording, production, touring, and promotional opportunities that would allow me to share my story and songs with a wider aud
