Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration comes from everything and nothing all at once. It lives in my roots, my city, and the quiet moments where I’m just observing life unfold. I’m deeply inspired by Sonder—that quiet realization that every person is living a life as complex and vivid as mine. Music comes to me like magic, like something I’m meant to channel and translate into sound. It’s how I communicate with the world and share the parts of me that words alone can’t hold.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen would elevate my career and fill me with purpose. As an Afro-Latina artist from New York, I’d represent girls like me who dream big. My music heals, and being surrounded by changemakers, speakers, and artists would inspire me even more. This stage isn’t just about exposure, it’s about impact, connection, and using my voice to be part of something greater than myself.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I’d invest it back into my music marketing, visuals, ads, a press tour, and studio time to amplify my reach. I’d also use it to change the lives of those around me, especially the people who gave me life. Raised by a single mother and my grandmother in the Dominican Republic, they’ve never had time to rest, always working hard. I want to give back to them, thank them for bringing me to this country, and supporting my journey in music.
