Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m an electronic music artist inspired by many bands and alternative rock. I let inspiration flow through me vs continuously searching. When I see a film or song that makes me inspired, I always act on it, even if it means sacrificing time with friends, money or experiences. I’m in the music industry for the art and love of it. My music always carries a nostalgic feeling to it, something I feel a lot of current music lacks because it is constantly being made to “blow up”
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would have a huge impact. I have been a supporting artist for a lot of shows the last 4-5 years but always say when I’m given the opportunity to perform for a lot of people, I know my experience and confidence will shine through. I am a confident performer and have been curating sets for about 4.5 years now so being in front of that many people to perform would help give me the opportunity to show my love for music through dynamic set building while also making new fans.
What would you do with $50,000?
First I would do is give away 10% to my church. Thats something I’m adamant on and the reason I am where I am today is because of my Faith in Jesus Christ. The next would be invest 30-40% into myself and my own artist project. The remaining majority would be used as giveaway money to help younger producers buy equipment and gear that they need. I was fortunate enough to have a family that could help me with that in the beginning, and I know that burning fire to create but not have the tool
