Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Oh man, where do I even begin? Frank Ocean, Daniel Caesar, Michael Jackson, Babyface, Pharrell—to name a few. I grew up listening to everything from Aerosmith and Rob Zombie to Boyz II Men, Biggie, Frank Ocean, Pharrell, and more. I love music because it inspires me. Everything has its shade, color, and sonic fingerprint, and all of them matter. They make up what the music world is today!!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Getting to perform on that stage, experiencing and possibly connecting with people on that level, and helping them escape or confront their feelings would be the greatest privilege in the world. Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would undoubtedly have a profound impact on my career, transforming the landscape of my team and myself. It would be an honor to be a part of such an event.
What would you do with $50,000?
First and foremost, I would be thrilled to gift a home studio to someone from a local college, helping them pursue their dreams. I personally know how much having my own home studio has made a difference in my life. I would allocate the funds towards the album that my team and I have been diligently preparing, and of course, I would pay them! They are my closest friends and, honestly, my business partners. I wouldn’t be here without them!
