Who or what is your musical inspiration?
All music inspires me but nothing is more inspiring than someone who feels and believes the lyrics they are singing. To me, that’s a true artist and musician.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Actually, I have no idea. I just want to sing so people can feel what music should feel like. You should be able to feel and hear the emotions and connections an artist has with their music. I feel that’s missing in a lot of music these days.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’m a single mom and a survivor of years of domestic violence. We lost everything more than once and have been without our own home since 2023. I would secure a home for my family, get a car, and donate to Protective Mothers Justice Shelter and Advocacy Services in AZ. They’ve helped me and many other women/children through impossible circumstances and I would love to show my gratitude for all they have done and continue to do despite lack of funding.
