Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I'm inspired by artists who use music as a force for change, like Bob Marley, Nina Simone, and Missy Elliott. Their ability to blend powerful storytelling with social justice fuels my passion to create music that moves people emotionally and inspires action within our subcultures and communities.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would elevate my platform globally, connecting my music with a cause-driven audience. It would amplify my voice, open doors to collaboration, and empower me to use my art as a platform to advocate for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), social justice, and the freedom of creativity.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d invest in professional recording, production, and touring to expand my reach. I'd also fund community-based music programs that provide youth with creative outlets, mentorship, and the tools to tell their own unique stories through music. Additionally, I'd give back to the American Diabetes Association for its continued research in finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).
